The absence of air conditioning made the warm nights somewhat uncomfortable, especially with the window open inviting pesky mosquitoes—one guest ended up with swollen bites. the original design of the building left us lugging our bags up the stairs, and with limited nearby dining options, dining choices could feel restricted. On one evening, bringing in take-out was met with disapproval, which felt intrusive while we were trying to unwind.

perfect base for exploring the charm of bruges on foot

My stay was made even better by how close it was to so many attractions. within minutes I could stroll to the Belfry of Bruges and enjoy the stunning view from the top, or visit Choco-Story for some tasty chocolates, all while being in a peaceful environment that felt like a retreat from the hustle and bustle of tourism.

Had an amazing time here with friends! It's just a short walk from the city center, perfect for exploring. We enjoyed a leisurely canal boat trip, giving us a fresh view of this lovely place. The garden is a quiet retreat after our busy days exploring. Highly recommend the breakfast—it was delicious! Perfect for groups seeking relaxation.
